Superb Sturian 520 OC built by yacht yard the Volharding in Stavoren. Upon entering the wheelhouse, you immediately notice the high-quality interior panelling. The solid teak interior combined with the alcantara ceiling panels exude absolute quality. The wheelhouse consists of a helm seat plus coxswain's seat in the same colour as the dinette. The yacht is suitable for long-term stays on board and for long trips, approx. 1000 miles. Throughout the yacht you will find plenty of cupboard space, every opening window or hatch is fitted with both blackout and mosquito net, there are 3 opening escape hatches on board and 1 large hatch in the saloon. The kitchen, the wet cell in the forward cabin and the wet cell in the aft cabin have beautiful light Korian tops. The kitchen is equipped with a Bosch dishwasher ánd you can easily operate the generator using the generator-starting panel above the sink. On board, no expense has been spared on the interior, many parts are made of stainless steel and the finish of the stairs to the saloon, for instance, has luxurious integrated handles. Outside, the stainless steel gunwale in combination with the stainless steel sea rail and fixed bulwark immediately catch the eye. The yacht also has no fewer than 14 bollards, stainless steel fender holders, 4 x stainless steel air vents, 3 x double-armed windscreen wipers and an integrated door to the swimming platform. The saloon and open cockpit are on the same level and separated by three French doors for the ultimate open cockpit feeling. Below the open cockpit is the spacious engine room, which offers enough room for bikes and is easy to access with the sturdy ladder. The engine room contains a Bosch washing machine, Leader pumps compressor, the hydraulic tanks for the steering, bow and stern thrusters, 2 x pressure vessel for the water pressure on board, 2 x 205 hp Caterpillar 3056 DI-TA diesel engines and the electrical installation. The entire engine room is fitted with checker plate on the floor, there is plenty of light and the cabling has been carefully placed.
