The Mulder Favorite 46 is an elegant and solid motor yacht, designed by Guido de Groot and built by the renowned Mulder Shipyard. This yacht exudes timeless class and is designed for comfortable and stylish living on board. The spacious open cockpit connects seamlessly with the saloon and wheelhouse, creating an open and light living space. The interior is classically finished in mahogany and features light, recently renewed upholstery. With two cabins, each with its own bathroom, the yacht is excellently suited for extended stays on board. Between 2021 and 2025, significant investments have been made in technology, finish, and equipment. The teak deck was completely renewed in 2023–2024 by Jonker Jachtbouw. During the same period, the underwater hull was sandblasted and treated with new antifouling. In 2023, major engine maintenance was carried out, including the installation of two new turbochargers. Additional engine service was performed in 2024. The yacht is equipped with shaft drives and four-blade propellers. The generator was serviced in May 2025. The cruising speed is approximately 8 knots at 2500 rpm, with a maximum speed of around 11 knots at 3300 rpm. The economical cruising speed is about 7 knots at 2200 rpm. In terms of equipment, the yacht is fitted with a comprehensive and recently updated Raymarine navigation system, including two Axiom 12” displays, radar, AIS, GPS, autopilot with remote control, VHF, wind meter, and a camera mounted on the radar arch. A new stern thruster with remote control was installed in 2023–2024, complementing the existing bow thruster. The foredeck cushions are present and were renewed in 2023–2024. Furthermore, the yacht is equipped with stainless steel fender holders and a searchlight. The paintwork on the hull requires attention.
