Moonen 84

The Moonen 84 “Moon River” is a luxury yacht measuring 25.75 meters, built by Moonen and delivered in 2003. Moon River features a full-displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure with teak decks. She was built in accordance with the rules of the Lloyd’s Register classification society. The Moonen 84 “Moon River” is easy to operate with a small crew as a compact oceangoing superyacht. She accommodates up to 8 guests with 2 crew members. This luxury yacht is also equipped with zero-speed stabilizers that function at anchor, enhancing onboard comfort when the yacht is stationary, particularly in rough waters. An extensive refit was carried out in 2009 by Moonen Shipyards, and she has received continuous upgrades from her third owner. The Moonen 84 “Moon River” can reach a top speed of approximately 13 knots and cruises comfortably at 10 knots. With approximately 16,400 liters of fuel capacity, she has a range of around 2,800 nautical miles at 10 knots. Moonen’s Inoferro division is currently working on new stainless steel fittings, and the shipyard is also modifying the flybridge layout to better meet both leisure and tender storage needs. All exterior plexiglass windows have been replaced with glass. A new teak deck is being installed, and the Moonen 84 “Moon River” will, of course, be fully repainted. Inside, Art-Line Interiors is replacing fabrics and other soft furnishings. Recently, the exhaust systems have been upgraded with silencers.
